We recognise the need for our clients to be able to call us and expect a rapid response, whatever the problem – this is the nature of employee relations, things can go wrong, and they can go wrong very quickly.
Faced with a critical situation, which has the potential to put them out of business, our clients rely on us to pull out all the stops to avoid disaster.
Whether we are responding to a client who has an employee arrested by the Police on suspicion of a serious criminal offence or whose business is at risk because its entire senior management team has been running a competing business and diverting work away from our client’s business, we will provide immediate advice and practical support, which includes mobilising a team of experts appropriate to the crisis. This may include criminal lawyers, PR consultants, Forensic IT experts, specialist barristers – we have speed dials for a wide range of experts who supplement our expertise and who we coordinate to ensure you have round-the-clock support.
On a more proactive level, we are often called upon to advise the CEO, Board of Directors or Trustees on large-scale projects which will affect employees and involve organisational change. This may be a restructuring exercise, redundancy process or the sale or purchase of a business, which will involve consideration of TUPE, or the removal of a senior executive (see Exit strategies). Whatever the project, we work with you to plan ahead and ensure there is a workable strategy in place, and a clear objective to be achieved. Our motivation is to help you achieve your desired outcome with minimum risk and disruption to the business, enabling you to continue running the business efficiently and profitably.
